massage therapy

I begin each session with a short discussion about what's going on in your life... Physically, mentally and emotionally.  It is all pertinent to assisting me find the best treatment plan for you for that particular day.

Over the years, my work in massage therapy has evolved to incorporate not only Swedish massage therapy techniques, but also Trigger Point therapy, deep tissue work, medical massage, sports massage, myofascial techniques, Gua Sha, and Craniosacral therapy. I will often utilize many of these in one session.  I also recommend & demonstrate stretches, exercises, postural shifts, and ideas of how to change your working environment to be more ergonomic if necessary.

We are all in a dynamic, lifelong experience of our bodies.  Paying attention and staying present to sensation, even the most subtle, as we move through our lives can give us invaluable information about our health and well being.
